Prematriculation / Preclinical Programs

The PASS Program now offers two additional programs to serve our medical student clients. They are called the PREMATRICULATION and the PRECLINICAL programs. The pre-matriculation program is structured to help medical students who have recently been admitted to a medical school and plan to attend in the fall of that year. The pre-clinical program is structured for medical students who have completed their first year of medical school and will be entering the second year of medical school that fall.

In the pre-matriculation program, the student will sit through classes that cover almost the entire first medical school year curriculum. We will teach you HOW to study and determine what is important to know. We will teach you HOW to organize your knowledge so that you have better recall. And, we will teach you HOW to approach test questions during medical school. All of this will greatly facilitate your first year of medical school, especially your exams. Imagine on the first day of your first year of medical school that you will feel calm and confident while other students are panicking from being overwhelmed.

In the pre-clinical program, we will review almost the entire first medical school year's curriculum. We will show you what was important for you to know and understand. We will show you how to take the basic medical sciences and apply it to various clinical situations. For, this is what a good physician does on a daily basis. We will also sit down with you during one-on-one sessions and teach you proper test taking strategies that have been shown to work to improve your test scores. The knowledge will also help you when you enter the third medical school year, when you are on various rotations.

This is your chance to get the advantage that you need to do well in your first year of medical school, the most difficult year, and in the subsequent years. These two programs are offered each summer in the months of July and August. We feel you will leave here excited and empowered.
